| FIRE Path with Jackal | ||
| Fire path will be an exploration of how enforced change affects us, how to work through and with trauma and darkness. We will be using guided imagery, solitary and group contemplation, group support, journalling and raku to deal with this question in each of our lives. This descent will be intense, but supported. | ||
| Readying Path with Strix | ||
|
For those older children or young teens who are called to discover their
magical and spiritual path, this is a space to explore and nourish your
magical selves, and have your connections to the living earth illuminated
and celebrated. Mindfully designed for the increasing number of older
children/young teens coming to Wild Ginger each year, this path will undoubtedly
be an intimate group, with lots of time for sharing, learning, discussion,
magic and ritual. Those choosing this path should be prepared to spend
some time each day sitting, thinking, listening to your peers and willing
to take some risks in an intimate group. |

| STRIX is an Ontario Certified teacher, naturalist and nature interpreter for almost 10 years. She is a long time Reclaiming witch and has been a Wild Ginger teacher/organizer for 3 years. She is passionate about transitions, edges and passage magic, and considers it a special privilge to mentor and witness young people through this important rite of passage into adulthood. | Queen Honcho Path with Meander and Calley | ||
| Parallel to Persephones journey from maiden to queen of the underworld, our path will invite a transformation from observer of ritual to priestess of ritual. meander and calley will lead a descent into the eye of the cone of power. we will deepen our understanding of shaping and working with energy in ritual, explore the definition of 'priestessing' a ritual, and empower participants to step more fully into working with the magical energy in community rituals. the magic of this path includes group trance, creative manifestation, intention setting, and collaborative ritual. | ||
| MEANDER is a workshop facilitator, a second degree
witch in Spawn Far Tradition, and an artist. Second degree witches are the
craft's teachers. Reclaiming serves a greater community and as part of it
you bring your unique energy, skills and talents to the making of magic.
As a mother and grandmother from a family tradition of psychic awareness
meander brings a unique understanding of energy to the circle. Priestessing
requires an expanded understanding of the weaving of individual energies
for a purpose. Come weave with us. CALLEY is a therapist, a healer, and a witch in the Reclaiming Tradition. She interweaves her seasoned career as a therapist and social worker, with her decade of practicing and teaching the craft. Calley has been facilitating healing and therapeutic learning groups for 20 years, and is a founder, teacher and organizer of Wild Ginger Witchcamp. She is a grounded, compassionate mentor who brings humour, feminism, and creativity to her work. |

| Join us in exploring the power and costs of following our inquiring spirits. We'll work with the land, descending into the deep crevices of the limestone escarpment to search, to find, to share. Balancing the power of our own quest with our commitments to others is part of life's challenge. We will play with being off balance. We'll notice how opening to love, balances, grounds, allows adventure and then pulls us back. This path hopes to deepen our dance, filling it with grace. | ||

| In this path we will be exploring our relationships with our human mothers and with our Earth Mother, how we nurture and are nurtured, how we let go and how we remain connected. We will be using journaling, trance, dance and song. Please bring a journal or paper to write on. | ||
| AIRMID MCBRIDE is a mother, grandmother, therapist, gardener, Tai
Chi instructor and witch. She has been a Wild Ginger organizer since 1999.
She is also a Priestess of the Silver Cauldron coven which is of a loosely
Alexandrian tradition.
SANDRA WILLOW read 'Dreaming the Dark' in the Spring of 1988 and took her leap (over a barricade) into political activism 3 weeks later. Practicing in the Reclaiming tradition since 92, she has attended Wild Ginger since it began in 1998 and is proud to have been part of the magical community that organizes this camp for the past 4 years. SARAH is a nurse midwife, living in Michigan (although she's in
the process of immigrating to Canada!). She has been involved with planning
Wild Ginger for several years and has taken an active role in ritual and
path planning since last year. |
